Chuckwalla Inc. announced a partnership to integrate Chuckwalla v5 and DAM with Van Gennep - M.A.C. Inc.'s PlanSystem3 Process Management for publishing. The two companies demonstrated ContentConnect for PlanSystem3, which is the bridge that combines Chuckwalla's intelligent DAM with Van Gennep's PM technology to create a platform to collectively manage content creation, production, storage and delivery. Chuckwalla also announced the availability of Chuckwalla v5, the newest version of its suite of products for managing rich media content and the first DAM solution to utilize a ".NET" framework. With its Digital Asset Management technology available as a set of web services, the company says, organizations will be able to access and manage their rich content via the Internet in a standardized manner and more easily integrate it into Web properties. Chuckwalla v5 is available immediately with native client support on Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP and Mac OS X & OS 9.2.
